2010 PUMPOUT SEASON IS NOW OPEN

NORWALK AREA BOAT SERVICE UPDATE

Service notice August 18: The Norwalk area boat has been intermittently available due to a stubborn problem in the engine software. The source of the problem and final fix is being pursued. We are covering demand to our best ability.

The Soundkeeper office is closed on the weekends. Calling and leaving a message at the office will not get you a pumpout since pumpout operators request lists are generated from

the online request form. You must either put your request in

here online (best option) or try hailing on VHF channel 77 if you need a pumpout immediately. Pumpout operators run Wednesday through Sunday, depending on the weather. A pumpout request entered online will be attempted within a week. You do not need to be at your boat when the pumpout occurs. The operator will leave a card on the boat and you will receive an email confirmation when the pumpout has occurred.

You must complete a new user profile on the form below each year. This allows us to stay current with the ever changing Email addresses, changes in marinas or slips and contact numbers/addresses.

Damage Waiver	I realize that engaging the Soundkeeper pump out service requires that the pump out vessel must come in close contact with my vessel, and that Soundkeeper and its pump out vessel operators take every possible precaution to avoid damaging my vessel during their operations. I also realize that despite the best efforts of the pump out operators, such close contact between vessels can occasionally result in minor cosmetic or mechanical damage or loss to my vessel that is beyond the control of the pump out vessel operator(s). By engaging the Soundkeeper pump out service, I understand and agree that Soundkeeper, its officers, employees, volunteers, contributors, partners and vessels, are not responsible for any such minor cosmetic and/or mechanical damages or losses that may occur as a result of using said pump out service, and I hereby waive my right to impose any such responsibility or liability, in a court of law or admiralty or otherwise, for any such damages against Soundkeeper, its officers, employees, volunteers, contributors, partners or vessels.
